GOA Ventures is building a small seaweed processing facility in Yerseke. As a Pilot Plant Operator, you’ll run daily seaweed processing operations, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure smooth, safe production of valuable seaweed-based products. You’ll monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the technical development of our pilot.

This role is suited for a creative problem-solver with a strong sense of responcibility. We are looking for an individual with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

As a Bioprocess Technician, you’ll be involved in daily seaweed processing, enzymatic treatments, and downstream processing at our pilot facility in Yerseke. You’ll help monitor process parameters, maintain equipment, and ensure safe, clean operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in biotechnology, food technology or process technology and a hands-on mindset.

GOA Ventures is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support our seaweed processing pilot in Yerseke. You’ll be responsible for analyzing the biochemical composition of seaweed samples, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and managing sample data. You’ll play a key role in the data collection required to improve our seaweed processing technology.

Ideal candidates have experience in analytical chemistry, food science, or biomass analysis. Excellent planning skills and a keen eye for details are plus. As a part-time collegue, you will be working -20 hours per week.

As Pilot Operations Manager, you’ll lead a small team, oversee daily operations, and ensure high product and data quality. You’ll cooperate with suppliers, partners, and our R&D team in Ede to optimize processes and scale-up innovation. You’ll be at the frontend of sustainable seaweed valorisation.

This role suits someone with strong leadership skills, a background in biotechnology/ marine biology/ sustainable processing, and a proactive mindset. Relevant work experience is required.
